Volcano Energy is leading the way in Bitcoin mining and renewable energy in El Salvador, empowering the country to make independent decisions. The organization is looking to expand the team and is currently seeking a General Accountant. 
 
As a General Accountant, your main goal will be to oversee the company's financial activities, including preparing financial reports, managing taxes, and conducting audits. Your responsibilities will include: 
 • Timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. 
• Reconciling bank and financial accounts. 
• Analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, coordinating audits, and ensuring tax compliance. 
• Upholding accounting and financial policies. 
 
To excel in this role, you must have:  
• Complete higher education in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields. CPA certification is desirable.
• Previous experience in accounting and a strong command of English. 
• Expertise in accounting principles and tax regulations. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software — Oracle, SAP, Softland, Quickbox, etc.  
• Availability for on-site work.
