Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing TRACS’ supply chain operations, including tracking tools, and direct communication, to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate fulfillment of work orders. This role will involve coordinating transportation, liaising with suppliers and customers, preparing client reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and Track Shipments: Organize and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers and from suppliers.
- Liaise with Suppliers and Clients: Build and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including customs clearance, import/export documentation, etc.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve issues related to shipments, delays, or quality problems, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and Share Client Reports: Compile and share regular logistics reports with clients, including data entry and analysis of delivery performance, shipment status, and other key metrics.
- Optimize Supply Chain Processes: Suggest and implement improvements to logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Use of Logistics Software: Utilize our logistics systems (Logitude) and tools for tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all relevant logistics data and reports are updated and accurately maintained in the company's systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.

Skills:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and data analysis.
- Proficient in using logistics management software (previous experience with Logitude, CargoWise, Magalla or similar logistics software is a plus).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with international logistics and customs procedures (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing freight and third-party logistics (3PL).
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for shipping.
- Experience in a fast-moving, dynamic industry, such as retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing.
