Build Scalable Back-end Solutions with Microservices in an Agile Tech Team
Based in El Salvador (Work from Anywhere) | 100% Remote | Professional Services Contract | Immediate Start

A fast-growing Salvadoran tech consultancy is driving digital transformation for top companies across Central America. We work in agile squads to deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions—from e-commerce to fintech. You’ll report directly to the Tech Lead and contribute to backend architectures that prioritize performance, scalability, and clean code.

What you are going to do:
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using NestJS and TypeScript, applying SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Design and implement microservices across Linux and Windows environments.
• Manage deployment pipelines using Docker and orchestrators (e.g., PM2, Nginx, IIS).
• Optimize database performance with advanced SQL Server tuning techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, technical grooming, and agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and Product Owner to ship features in iterative sprints.

Your technical toolkit:
• 2+ years of experience in back-end development, including production-grade apps built with NestJS.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and API versioning.
• Strong command of relational databases (SQL Server), including stored procedures and query optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and containerized deployments.
• Self-driven, structured, and reliable in a remote-first environment.
• Comfortable reading and writing technical documentation in English.
