We embrace innovative technologies to optimize energy systems and power the world with personalized, forward-thinking solutions. We’re looking for a Freelance Web Designer to support our marketing efforts and help maintain a modern, user-friendly website.

Role Overview
As a Freelance Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating new website materials and ensuring our site stays fresh and up-to-date with relevant content. You’ll collaborate with our marketing and design teams to build and maintain engaging, responsive website pages that reflect Atma Energy’s brand, mission, and services. This is a freelance, remote position with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build new pages and website materials (landing pages, service pages, blog posts) that align with brand standards and marketing goals.
- Update and maintain existing website content to ensure it is current, functional, and optimized for user experience.
- Optimize website layout, graphics, and multimedia to enhance overall user experience (UX) and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to create web designs that support lead generation and brand consistency.
- Ensure that all website materials are mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and optimized for performance across all devices.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement SEO-friendly website content and ensure optimal site navigation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, working with technical teams when necessary.
- Provide guidance on website best practices, usability improvements, and new web design trends.
- Ensure familiarity with Statamic CMS and use it to manage content and customize templates effectively.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Web Designer (3+ years preferred) with a strong portfolio showcasing previous website work.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (experience with web design frameworks like Bootstrap or similar is a plus).
- Experience with Statamic CMS for content management and template customization.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Squarespace, or Webflow.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and how to optimize website content.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a freelance, remote environment.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and ensuring mobile-friendly layouts.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with a team.
