GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The LNP Specialist is primarily responsible for providing end-to-end customer support for Local Number Portability (LNP) activity. Our LNP Specialists manage the critical and time-sensitive day-to-day operational components of the number porting process.
The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized leader with a goal-oriented high personal level of excellence. Candidates must have the ability to assess situations quickly and creatively with the tools they have acquired from their previous (required) telecommunications experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs general customer service duties to include answering the phone and responding to emails regarding LNP requests.
Assists with all LNP inquiries and requests.
Follows-up with LNP issues forwarded to other departments if needed.
Communicates LNP status with internal departments via email and phone.
Communicate with account representatives and carriers for resolution of LNP issues.
Ability to interface with carriers and vendors in a professional manner.
Provides end-to-end support throughout the LNP process.
Manages and supports special projects as assigned.
Enters/inputs LNP orders and ensures accuracy and on-time completion.
Handles LNP disputes and escalates customer problems and service issues.
Manages all number ordering and management of inventory.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge of VoIP industry. (Preferred)
Experience with LNP processes (preferred.)
Experience in the telecom industry is desirable.
Understanding of basic billing concepts.
Ability to manage and track databases using MS Excel.
Experience with CRM systems.
English proficiency – between B2 – C1
