Descripción de la Oferta

This position will have night shift from 7:00 PM to 2:30 AM and weekend shifts 8:00 AM to 4:30. Thursday and Friday off. (Subject to change depending on traveler's needs)

SUMMARY: Responsible for working directly with employees to provide full service travel coordination; which includes creating travel itineraries, identifying service gaps and resolving employee concerns.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required.
Researches and books air, car and hotel options for traveling while according to company standards and policies.
Interacts with vendors to secure travel reservations and investigate issues. Prepares reports and maintains files.
Advises travelers regarding documentation requirements. Conducts daily reservations activity for the internal corporate travel department.
Ensures company policies and procedures are followed. Access resources to analyze routings, fares, and discounts to achieve the most economical travel.
Research and resolve debit memos and customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
Identify opportunities to review operational processes and provide suggestions for improvement.
Resolve service requests received by the department via emails and phone calls, ensuring to deliver excellent customer service.

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree with technical training in business or a related; or a combination of post high school education, with related course work after high school and job-related training.

EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years of related experience in a travel agency or corporate travel services environment, handling reservations. Additional experience in customer service or airline background preferred.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

Sabre, Concur or another GDS proficiency are highly required.

Automated travel management systems and travel agency background is well valued for this position
