Descripción de la Oferta

SUMMARY: Ensures that Bills of Lading are completed and invoices are delivered with timeliness and high degree of accuracy.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Process information into the freight services applications to ensure that the documentation process flows as scheduled, based on documents submitted by our customers. Release documents according to the instructions provided by customer’s. Keep the Supervisor and Manager informed of any situation that may impact service, cargo delivery at destination and/or customer satisfaction. Summarize a daily production report. Verify and confirmed information submitted by customer, to process Bill of lading correctly. Keep communication with customer, Port’s office and destination’s office at the time to process a bill of lading when needed. Work closely with BL revision Department, to assure corrections are communicated on time and accurate after voyage sailing. Work closely with Pricing Department to assure that rate requests and verifications are entered and follow up correctly. Proactively handle customer (internal and external) requests. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and job-related training preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Entry Level: minimum 6 months to 1 year of general office experience or minimum 6 months transportation experience. For those working in a call center environment, employee must have a minimum of 1 year working with customers as a primary job function.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

COMPETENCIES: Oriented to reach goals, positive attitude to the job, multi task skills, open to work over time when required. Written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented. Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up.
Team player with proven ability to work well under constant deadlines. Excellent customer service skills. Problem Solving skills with the ability to seek alternative solutions for difficulties, Teamwork – showing a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Proactive and auto-motivated.

OTHER: Bilingual English/ Spanish is required.
