· Implement projects including, network upgrades, office/workstation relocations, server migrations, firewall and switch installation and configuration, WAP and router configuration, server virtualization, Office 365 migration, and more!
· Work with Sales Engineering to ensure proper solution delivery and be a representative of the technical team with clients.
· Provide technical and professional mentorship to junior staff and be an escalation point for challenging technical issues.
· Update and create documentation for client’s networks and ensure all standard documentation is created and maintained.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are handled appropriately and open to improve project workflow
Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, CIS, Computer Science or related field
6+ years of IT industry experience, preferably 2-4 years’ experience implementing projects
3+ years of client-facing technical role and experience communicating with C-Level executives
All-star verbal and written communication skills with strong focus on detail
Client focused with an ability to maintain relationships and resolve client conflicts
Contribute to TNS Private Cloud evolution by quickly learning and adapting new technologies
RMM tool familiarity is a plus.
Cisco CCNP (Routing and Switching)
Full understanding of all layers of the OSI model
Experience with Layer 2/3 switches, including configuration via CLI (Cisco non-SMB)
Advanced understanding of the following:
LACP/Etherchannel
VLAN Management and routing
Static and Advanced dynamic routing (i.e. OSPF, BGP)
Cisco VOIP
Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016
VMware and Hyper V
· VMWare virtual switching (vSwitch)
Some working knowledge of WAN transport solutions (i.e. MPLS, VPLS)
Advanced working knowledge of enterprise grade firewall platforms (i.e. PaloAlto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
ConnectWise experience a plus
Experience with Microsoft Exchange, 2010, 2013, 2016, Office 365
Remote desktop technologies (Windows RDS, Citrix) a plu
