Working at the corporate office, the DevOps Engineer will be working with developers and system administrators to provide automation solutions to build and maintain all systems and its dependencies. Responsible to provide high quality deployments of .NET web applications, WCF services and more throughout our client’s global infrastructure.

Duties:

• Develop automation solutions tasks to all Ria Departments, helping on all process steps such as design, plan, build and test the automated tasks;
• Work on initiatives to reduce the TTM (time to market) for Ria applications;
• Automate and maintain build and deployment processes across multiple platforms;
• Perform branching, merging and integration between development, staging and production source code repositories;
• Administrate and maintain the Monitoring Systems;
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, QA and Operations teams to implement solution into a highly available production environment and ensure high quality processes and releases;
• Build solutions/tools for the NOC team, making possible to have them working on some administration tasks using controlled and trackable tools provided by the DevOps Engineers and Administrators team;

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Release Engineering, building and deploying large-scale .NET web applications;
• Proficient in PowerShell and PHP scripting;
• Proficient in administering Source Control systems (SVN, TFS) and branching policies;
• Experience in using Continuous Integration tools including TFS Build and Cruise Control a must;
•Familiarity with application development using the .NET Framework;
• IIS7 & 8 administration a plus;
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
• Knowledge of professional Monitoring systems as a solution, such as Icinga and Grafana;
• Knowledge of Linux OS;
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio, Internet Information Services (IIS), Visual Studio 2013 onwards;
• Basic knowledge of programming in various languages – C#.NET, T-SQL, VB.NET, Microsoft Access;
• Knowledge of Networking and associated technologies (nice-to-have);
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 System Administration skills (nice-to-have);
• Advanced English Level

Education
Four (4) year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience
