This position ensures that guidelines and policies around cash processes are adequate and effective and that such policies prevent significant errors in cash balance calculation. Reviews bank accounts, checks balances against ledger amounts and verifies that such amounts agree with financial statement items---such as an asset, a liability, a revenue or an expense.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Perform daily review of bank activity in the reconciliation system
-Research and follow-up of missing deposits and coin orders
-Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of assigned banking functions.
-Initiate and receive communication with customer, internal and external, regarding inquiries and issues.
-Research reconciling items outstanding on various account and match reference data associated with each transaction to reference data. This person is responsible for --daily and monthly reconciliation for various accounts within various companies
-Reviews company's bank accounts, checks balances against ledger amounts and verifies that such amounts agree with financial statement items---such as an asset, a liability, a revenue or an expense


Education required
-Associates or 2nd year's student in Accounting
-1+ years of experience in the Accounting field handling bank reconciliations (preferred)

- Ability to meet concurrent deadlines
- Knowledge of Bank Statements
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Focus oriented
- Very detail oriented
- Basic Word knowledge
- Basic math skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
