Descripción de la Oferta

Primary Purpose:

• Coordinate the workflow of cost estimates and/or new costs sceneries for new products and carry over styles.
• Coordinate the workflow of methods analysis and calculations of SAH’s with GSD of cutting, sewing and packaging requirements timely to be integrated into new product costing.
• Responsible for managing labor standards for new styles into HBI information systems.
• All these functions will do in an accurate and timely manner providing service to activewear and underwear businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate priorities and workflow of the cost engineers according to their capacities and competencies to respond effectively to the needs of costs required by different departments.
• Establish processes for the correct capture of information necessary for costing purpose.
• Responsible for providing cost estimates for scenarios that are evaluating cost reduction in prototypes or existent styles, or new scenarios on construction and material changes, or any other that requires more complex analysis
• Responsible for providing the necessary information about standard cost of the styles that are into HBI information system.
• Responsible for reviewing and verifying the information collected by Engineers for the construction of estimate costs.
• Ensure the teamwork between cost engineers and other support areas such as engineering, technical design, procurement, purchasing, materials and cost accounting to maintain the continues process of cost engineering.
• Coordinate priorities and workflow of GSD Engineer in order to give support on sah’s to costing team.
• Ensure the service level provide to operation facilities and other functional areas on sah’s matters.
• Provide support on making cost estimates or sah’s to team If it is necessary.
• Provide an adequate monitoring into HBI information system the SAH’s load.
• Managing meetings with different areas including Winston Salem, for garment construction, and stablishing tasks, due dates and give follow up.
• Monitoring the key indicators of the area: production, service and quality.
• Ensure the performance of his/her direct reports.
• Responsible for the development and updating of reports related to the production and follow up of the tasks assigned, as well as any other reports request by the area manager.
• Reinforce Policies/Procedures, manual work and functions of the work area
• Ensure the optimal Utilization of the resources provided by the company.
• Meet the standards of industrial health and safety in his (her) work area.
• Complete any other activities assigned by the immediate supervisor according to the department’s goals.


Scope

Requirements

BS in Industrial Engineering or similar careers
Advanced English
At least 3 years of experience in areas such as Costing and engineering areas.
Strong Knowledge in apparel manufacturing and garments construction.
