Grants Specialist Jr.

Work Location: El Salvador Envía tu hoja de vida a: xxxx.xxxxx.xxx Fecha limite: 28 de Mayo del 2018 The Grants Specialist will be responsible to lead proposal-development teams that may include internal as well as external members, and draft all or sections proposals for institutional and private donors. Also will be supporting our national office in positioning and identifying new opportunities. Principal Duties and

Responsibilities:
•Submit high-quality proposals
•Support World Vision's National Office (El Salvador) positioning & donor engagement
•Support World Vision El Salvador's National Office proposal-development capacity-building processes
•Support World Vision El Salvador's National Office proposal-development capacity-building processes

Education:
•Degree in development studies, economics, business administration, sociology, anthropology, international relations, or any other relevant field of social science.
• Master’s level degree (is prefered) in a relevant field of studies.

Work Experience:
•3 years experience in leading grant´s proposal designs and submitting high quality proposals.
•Successful experiences in plan development for grants or funding acquisitions.
•Experience with Budgeting & financial tracking/reporting
•Deep knowledge of International Cooperations reporting and proposal requirements.

Skills and Knowledge:
•Deeply identified and committed to World Vision’s Christian vision, mission and values.
•Excellent written and oral communication skill in English is required.
•Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet (preferably Microsoft Word and Excel), and presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint).
•Updated knowledge of ODA donor landscape & trends.
•Development theory & practice.
•Proposal development skills.
