PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Provide strategic leadership and advice to National Offices El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua in the area of People & Culture, organizational development by maximizing the potential of WV’s human resources and increasing organizational performance to fulfill WV’s mission & vision while remaining true to its core values. Support the National Directors (NDs) and offices leaders in developing leadership capacity in each office, furthering executive and professional development of staff. This position directly supervises People & Culture manager of the three offices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
MBA in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field preferred
Proficiency in English as a second language
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources position with medium business/medium NGO/government agency
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources leadership position
Regional or Multi-country teams management experience is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills
Expert knowledge of local labor laws of countries within the HUB
Good communication and negotiation skills
Must be able to lead and manage virtual teams.
Ability to work under pressure
Team player who is detail-oriented
Ability to function in a cross cultural environment and able to work on a cross-cultural environment with a multi-national staff.
Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities and observe mission and core values of World Vision and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
