JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for front-line oversight of certain government freight contracts, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and Crowley business units unit policies and procedures
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Customer Care Representative for National Accounts has the highest degree of skill and passion for taking care of customer needs to ensure complete customer satisfaction and retention.
Handles customer calls,answers questions, corrects errors, develops leads, assists with pricing, develop key performance indicators, recommends process improvements, and is able to deliver value added services.
Must be able to develop a strong knowledge of all of Crowley's services and have the ability to influence and sell the service offerings.
Must be creative, flexible, self-motivated, and goal oriented. Should be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
May berequired to generate reports.
Employees are accountable to management and each other to ensure every task is done safely in accordance with Management Systems or business unit procedures with the objective of continuously improving us processes.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or job-related formal training after high school.
EXPERIENCE:
Requires learning and developing expertise in all Crowley Liner Services and Crowley Logistics Services computer systems including CRM, CICS legacy systems, Crowley On Line Web Services, EZ Tariff, CLI IES, and back office support AR and Credit and Collection systems.
Must also possess strong PC skills including all Microsoft Office programs.
Requires assisting and on boarding customers using our new Crowley On Line Services products.
Exceptional PC knowledge which includes intermediate to advanced level with MS Office. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to exhibit a level of influencing and selling via the telephone. Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a customer interface role.
All Crowley positions require proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
Some positions may also include proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
