We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to join our team. As the QA Manager you will have the autonomy to develop and manage the team, testing activities and implementation of the testing phases of the System Development Life Cycle.

Key Purpose of Job:
This is a senior role where you will own the Test / QA strategy and steer the QA function company wide. You will manage the QA delivery across Mobile, Web, UI and Desktop projects. Experience leading an automation effort is highly desirable for this role, you will be required to have previous lead experience (offshore teams desirable), as well as demonstrating strong communication skills.

Ability to clearly demonstrate past experience and competence in all areas of test management (test estimation and planning, reporting, stakeholder/vendor management, etc.)

To establish a relationship with each project stakeholder to enable effective communications throughout testing, to achieve buy in and to ensure correct level of ownership is achieved during test preparation, execution and prior to go live.

To develop and communicate an Overall Testing Strategy for the Project to include:
•The scope of Testing
•Test Methodology
•Appropriate number of test phases
•Testing of environments
•Management of Test Data
•Use of Test Tools including use of Automation tools
•Working closely with Technical Lead, BA & PM to develop and communicate a Test Plan for the Project based on an agreed Test Strategy
•To work with the Business Analyst, Product Owner, business representatives and vendors to validate the business requirements and to assist with the elicitation and management of test requirements
•Liaise with Business Analyst to ensure that business scenarios are comprehensive and adequate for testing
•To develop a fit-for-purpose reporting mechanism
•Define and communicate requirements for the documentation of test results
•Co-ordinate, monitor and report on test progress across all test phases
•To act as an Escalation point to the Project Manager for any issues which may jeopardise Testing delivery.
•Management of entry and exit for all Test Phases
•Regular Bug management

Experience:
• 5+ years or testing experience
• Knowledge of mobile, web browser testing required
• Experience with teams in multiple locations/time zones
• Automation experience

Skills and Abilities:
• MS Office knowledge
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools - JIRA,
• Knowledge of test methodologies, software development lifecycle, knowledge of agile techniques
• Strong drive to achieve results, advanced communication skills
• Strong Organization and coordination skills
