This position reports to the Director of Accounting Operations and records gross margin of multiple operating business units, which requires understanding of the data flows between transaction processing, billing and general ledger systems. This position will also account for Cash, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Accounts Payable and Accrued Liabilities.

Responsibilities

•Perform accounting responsibilities throughout the month, with additional emphasis at month-end on completeness and accuracy.

o Apply manual collections to customer accounts in the billing system.
o Billing system journal bookings to General Ledger (GL).
o Payment system journal bookings to GL.
o Administrative payments in the payment system.
o Inventory order accrual entries to GL.
o Bank transfer journal bookings to GL.
o Void file population and follow up.
o Testing account write-offs in the billing system.
o Sales report preparation.
o Month-end entries as requested by the Finance Director.

•Special projects and assignments as needed:

o Basic supplier payment completion.
o AP aging report preparation.
o Audit evidence collection.
o Accrued liabilities file preparation.
o Email folder management.
o Otherwise assigned duties.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• 2 years of relevant finance and/or accounting experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required; experience working with Microsoft Access preferred.
• Experience with General Ledger and Subledgers.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Advanced English level skills (MUST)

Education
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration.
