Happy Casa is looking for a proactive and results-driven SEO Marketing Specialist to support the growth of our online visibility, organic traffic, and lead generation efforts in the U.S. home improvement and remodeling market.

This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO beyond basic keyword optimization and can combine technical SEO, local SEO, content optimization, AI/AEO strategies, website performance, and reporting to generate measurable business results.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with marketing, sales, website support, and customer success teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies focused on increasing organic visibility, qualified traffic, and lead generation.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis for home improvement, remodeling, bathroom renovation, kitchen remodeling, handyman services, and related services.
- Identify SEO opportunities based on search intent, service demand, location-based searches, and customer behavior.
- Optimize website structure, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, URLs, metadata, headings, image alt text, FAQs, and calls to action.
- Identify and help resolve technical SEO issues related to site speed, mobile usability, broken links, redirects, indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
- Optimize service pages, landing pages, blog posts, and location pages for target keywords and search intent.
- Refresh and update existing content to improve rankings, readability, engagement, and conversions.
- Support local SEO strategies for Happy Casa’s service areas across Maryland.
- Assist with Google Business Profile optimization and local search visibility.
- Recommend strategies to improve local rankings, reputation signals, reviews, and customer trust.
- Optimize content for traditional search engines and AI-driven answer engines.
- Use AI tools to support keyword research, content optimization, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, leads, and website engagement.
- Prepare clear SEO reports with insights, results, opportunities, risks, and next steps.
- Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for the marketing and leadership team.
- Support SEO-aligned content ideas for blogs, social media, email campaigns, seasonal promotions, and service campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to align SEO with customer acquisition goals.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO, and content optimization.
- Experience with keyword research, competitor analysis, SEO audits, and SEO reporting.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Strong English writing skills for website content, blogs, metadata, reports, and marketing copy.
- Ability to analyze data and turn insights into practical recommendations.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Clear communication skills and ability to explain SEO concepts in simple business terms.
