What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Specialist to join the TRACS team.

The role is a perfect fit for some who is a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in the logistics field to manage and optimize supply chain operations, including tracking and direct communication tools with internal and external customers, preparation of reports, and compliance with internal standard operation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and Track Shipments: Organize and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring punctual delivery to customers and from suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers: Build and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including customs clearance, import/export documentation, etc.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to shipments, delays, or quality issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and share reports: Compile and share regular logistics reports with customers and internal operations team, including data entry and analysis of delivery performance, shipment status, and other key metrics
• Optimize supply chain processes: Suggest and implement improvements in logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Use of logistics software: Use our logistics systems and tools for tracking and reporting
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records: Ensure that all relevant logistics data and reports are properly updated and maintained in the company's systems
• Communicate statuses and exceptions: Request and propose solutions to problems or concerns following TRACS email etiquette and practices
• Request for freight quotes to shipping lines or agents: Validating the movement and rate, prior to sharing with management for review and providing the TRACS quote to the customer

Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and comfort with cloud based tech stacks (OneDrive).
• Must have a vehicle (Job is initially remote but will eventually centralize in an office space)

Skills
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and data analysis.
• Proficient in using logistics management software (previous experience with Logitude, CargoWise, Magaya or similar logistics software is a plus).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with international logistics and customs procedures
• Experience in managing freight and third-party logistics (3PL).
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for shipping.
• Experience in a fast-moving, dynamic industry, such as retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
