You will be responsible for the governance, execution, and day-to-day performance of both AR & AP functions across the organization. You will ensure that transactional activity is accurate, controlled, and built correctly toward month-end close and financial reporting.
You will act as the operational owner: managing cash flow, approving and unblocking work, and serving as the primary escalation point for issues. You will be the connective layer between our team of international and remote specialists and our senior finance leaders.

What You’ll Do
• Own AR and AP governance, including policies, controls, and performance oversight.
• Accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of AR/AP balances, reconciliations, and their contribution to financial statements and month-end close.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow, including optimization of cash across entities and banks.
• Act as an authorized bank user and approver, ensuring disciplined cash execution.
• Serve as the escalation point for AR/AP issues and resolve blockers that impede progress.
• Manage and develop a team of AR and AP specialists responsible for transactional postings and reconciliations.
• Own AR and AP processes, driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate closely with CPAs and senior finance leaders to ensure operational work supports tax, compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Prioritize work so that transactional activity builds cleanly into the broader financial picture.

What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of progressive experience leading accounting operations in multinational companies. Travel industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ownership of AR and AP in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Proven experience leading or supervising accounting operations teams.
• Comfort operating as a bank user and cash approver.
• CPA or equivalent designation is an asset but not required.
• Given the global nature of the organization and that English is used in systems and communications, strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
