ABOUT THIS ROLE
RIA Financial Services is a global money transfer company, constantly evolving. To support our growth efforts, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in El Salvador and help take this company to the next level. This position requires accounting knowledge and experience. The role involves supporting the accounting department. We need a highly analytical person with self-discipline, determination, and a positive attitude.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Record accounting entries and verify supporting documentation
-Follow up on emails and prepare weekly reimbursements
-Complete general ledger operations
-Prepare account analyses
-Perform intercompany entries
-Assist with preparation and coordination of information for external audits
-Review and process travel expense reports and monthly incentives
-Prepare VAT books
-Assist in the monthly closing process
-Issue electronic invoices

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-Intermediate knowledge of Excel
-Knowledge of computerized systems (preferably in English)
-Experience in account reconciliation and accounting analysis
-1 to 2 years of work experience
-Intermediate English skills (preferred)
-Excellent teamwork skills and proactive attitude
-University studies in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
