**Expert Solution/Software Architect – Payment Systems (Client-Facing)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution/Software Architect with deep expertise in payment systems to join our regional team. This is a client-facing role where you will collaborate directly with banks, fintech, processors, and payment ecosystem stakeholders across the region.

You will assess complex infrastructures, design scalable architectures, and guide clients through the modernization of their payment environments. Your work will enable advanced capabilities such as real-time payments, tokenization, digital issuance, embedded finance, and processor modernization.

*Key Responsibilities

- Client Infrastructure Assessment: Evaluate clients’ existing payment platforms, integration layers, and operational readiness to identify gaps and modernization opportunities.
- Target Architecture Design: Define secure, scalable, and future-ready architectures for issuing, acquiring, processing, digital payments, and end-to-end payment ecosystems.
- Implementation Planning: Create detailed implementation roadmaps, including sequencing, dependencies, risk mitigation, and alignment with the target architecture.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to client technology teams, guiding architecture decisions, integration strategies, cloud adoption, and industry best practices.
- Documentation & Governance: Produce high-quality architecture documentation, including solution blueprints, API/interface specifications, and implementation guidelines.

*Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design.
- Knowledge of payment processing flows (authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, disputes) — a strong plus.
- Experience with global payment networks, card scheme protocols, real-time payment infrastructures, and messaging standards — a plus.
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, tokenization, encryption, and fraud-prevention technologies.
- Strong client-facing abilities, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
