SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of the information technology (IT) operations which includes the development, implementation, and support of Oracle applications, ensuring business needs are met, driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle applications. Analyze complex business needs presented by the users and recommend technical solutions. Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures and managing solutions. Develop and oversee project roadmaps and resource planning for Oracle application initiatives. Ensure Oracle applications support business processes across the different functional areas. Identify emerging information technologies and analyze them for potential integration within the organization. Provide leadership and direction in policy and procedure development, enhancement and implementation. Develop and maintain partnerships throughout the organization in order to attain departmental goals and objectives. Partner with business and IT leadership to develop IT strategy, direction and prioritization of key initiatives and projects.

Qualifications - External
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; or a combination of post high school and experience equal to twelve (12) years.

EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of directly related information technology experience. Proven experience in managing and leading Oracle projects and/or support. 8+ years of experience with implementing, managing, and enhancing Oracle Fusion Financials and/or EPM platforms. Experience in leading technology teams, end-to-end platform implementations.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Strong knowledge of Oracle modules; advanced technical knowledge of core Oracle Cloud platform configurations and standard practices.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. Ability to prepare, monitor and administer budgets, as well as the ability to perform financial analysis. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to interface business applications with other systems. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Ability to provide subject matter expertise, counsel, and effectively influence others at various levels within the organization. Knowledge of and ability to conduct need, trend, feasibility and performance assessments. Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development and evaluation as well as the ability to meet project deadlines.
