GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs various analysis and reconciliations of accounts to ensure payments are processed timely. Assigns codes, identifies accounts and prepares data transaction sheets. Research issues and make necessary adjustments and/or recommend resolutions to accounts. Posts, checks and proofs entries to general ledger and accounts. Performs general administrative duties which may include filing, coordinating schedules, report generation, records maintenance, etc. Reconcile customer billing and confirm costs are allocated correctly. Communicate with both internal and/or external customers as needed. Ensure daily tasks are processed in accordance with management systems or business unit procedures.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, in addition to job related course work after high school.
EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years general accounting, related financial experience.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including, Word, Outlook, Access and Excel.
COMPENTENCIES: Ability to communicate effective verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team. Skill in preparing clear and concise documents, including but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences and other written materials. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions. Knowledge of accounting, reconciliation, journal entry and other such financial transactions.
