Responsibilities:
-) Prepare and maintain various payroll records including compensation rates, deductions, and accruals; ensure the accuracy of hours entered on the time-tracker system.
-) Balances or reconciles assigned payroll records; resolves and adjusts discrepancies; analyzes computer reports to identify and locate sources of error. Perform required adjustments through established procedures.
-) Gathers and analyzes payroll data; makes recommendations and prepares various payroll reports.
-) Review of Payroll interface files
-) Point of contact for issues concerning: AFP, ISSS, income taxes and government institutions.
-) Work closely with site HR regarding the resolution of payroll issues.
-) Administer the wage garnishment process including sending remittances to institutions.
-) Respond to Helpdesk e-mail inquiries and/or forward to appropriate personnel.
-) All other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-) Knowledge of payroll processing, calculations and book keeping procedures.
-) Skill in problem resolution, providing an exceptional customer experience.
-) Skill in both verbal and written communication to analyze, interpret and address customer needs.
-) Knowledge of PC applications.
-) Knowledge of relevant tax laws pertaining to payroll, and internal policies and procedures.
-) Ability to work in a time critical environment.
-) Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
-) Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and good judgment.
-) Minimum qualifications: Two years of related clerical accounting experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
