The Senior Analyst is passionate about using data to drive insights and optimizations that create better connections for consumers and improve bottom-line business results on client digital media investments. The Senior Analyst has 3 – 5+ years of digital media, analytics and data science expertise; experience in a client service oriented role; and the ability to produce thoughtful presentations that create an impact.
The Senior Analyst will be working closely the AKQA Media and Search teams. Our mission is to provide our clients with the best of breed technology, inventory, data, service, and strategy for programmatic media. We believe in radical transparency, maximized media efficacy, and leaning into the future state of digital media.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Be the lead person on Media reporting and dashboard creations for AKQA’s clients.
• Extract insights from digital media measurement systems (e.g., DFA, Demand side platforms, Google Analytics)
• Create strategic campaign learning agendas and associated KPI measurement frameworks
• Shape data for analysis from multiple CSV/Excel/database sources
• Query databases using SQL
• Use statistically sound analytical techniques to provide robust descriptive data insight and clearly communicate these insights to stakeholders in a variety of formats
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors Degree in Economics, Business, Statistics or related field
• 3 – 5+ years of digital media, analytics and data science expertise
• Advanced use of Excel (pivot tables, charts and graphs, macros, formulas and functions (LOOKUPS), filtering)
• Advanced understanding of web analytics tools – pathing, tracking code retrieval for marketing programs (ala SAINT), best practices for implementation
• Advanced SQL knowledge
• HTML5, CSS & Javascript
• Tableau, Datorama, Python, and R expertise desiriable
• Expertise in gathering qualitative and quantitative data, developing reports, and creating client presentations that are insight-driven and tell a story.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload with strong follow-through
• Must be Fluent in English and Spanish with strong oral and written communication; able to communicate effectively within AKQA’s diverse culture
• TOEFL/TOEIC certificate is preferred
• Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to drive results
• Excellent priority-setting and time management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability; ability to successfully work under pressure, respond to shifting needs and manage multiple tasks at one time
• High professional standards and strong employee service mentality
