AKQA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our North America Headquarter team. This individual will be based in El Salvador and reports to the Accounts Payable Manager in El Salvador.

Core Responsibilities:
• Support Accounts Payable Manager in all areas of AP process
• Review and verify invoices, expenses, and check requests
• Sort, code and match invoices
• Enter and upload invoices into system with accuracy
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Work closely with the AP team in SF by submitting accurate payment selection list for vendor payment
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Manage accounts payable aging report, investigate and resolve aged payable item.
• Assist with month end closing
• Participate in SOX audits
• Maintain vendor files
• Ad hoc request as needed
