Position Objective:
This position will be in charge of the Local Regulatory Reporting for the legal vehicles in El Salvador reporting directly to the FO of the country

Main Responsibilities:
Manage, support and monitor the tasks that the controllership team develops; (Financial Reporting , Financial Accounting ) monitor its correct use and suggesting changes aimed at improving these processes
Assist and supervise the monthly and quarterly end close accounting processes and presentation of the financial statements, including explanations and notes
Review, coordinate and establish the correct accounting processes and dynamics, suggesting changes aimed at improving these processes.
Check and monitor that the financial/accounting information is prepared in a timely manner, presenting accurate and reliable information of the real financial situation of the institution
Develop strategic relationship with the regulator, internal and external auditors , reporting on regulatory changes that impact the business, ensuring the implementation of strategies for corrective actions.
Respond to the requirements among others from the Cluster Controller, FO-Controller of El Salvador and LATAM Controller
Understand and maintain current information regarding local and corporate laws to implement policies from the accounting principle

Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in local reporting/ audit (banking sector).
Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Accounting or Business Administration, Master's Degree preferred
Knowledge of Local Accounting Standards
Knowledge of Local Banking Legislature
Knowledge in Local reporting preparation
Fluent English.
Strong ability to prioritize and be deadline driven
