The DevOps Support Technician is responsible of all system monitoring and ensure the highest uptime availability. Also, He/She is the person in charge to report, escalate and follow up the system outages, to the proper engineer team. Also, provide Tier 2 support, than include identify and troubleshoot issues related with OS, hardware, software and network issues, within the company.

Required Skills

ADVANCED HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:
o Assembly
o Hardware upgrade installation
o Software upgrade installation
o Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (specially Excel, Visio and Project)

ADVANCED NETWORKING KNOWLEDGE:
o Manage switches and routers
o Manage VLANs
o Run commands (IP Config, Telnet, Trace, etc.)

ADVANCED WINDOWS SERVER 2008/2012 KNOWLEDGE:
o Infrastructure (Roles, Features, etc.)
o Management (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Scripts, etc.)
o Troubleshooting

PROVED EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MONITORING TOOLS LIKE:
o Icinga
o Grafana
o WhatsUPGold
o Solarwinds

BASIC IP TELEPHONY KNOWLEDGE
EXPERIENCE INTERACTING WITH END USERS FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT PURPOSE


Required Qualifications

• Fully bilingual (English-Spanish)

• Open to work on rotating schedules
• Self-taught person
• 3 years minimum experience in similar positions
• Ability to work under pressure
• Technical degree in Systems Engineering or second year of Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering.
