Position Overview:
The Planning, Analytics & Logistics team within Training & Quality is seeking a BA 1 to support internal Training teams with data gathering / manipulation, reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to perform and analyze problems and communicate their resolution clearly and consistently.
Responsibilities:
-Compile data extracts from various sources leveraging internal systems
-Manage daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Co-facilitate monthly trending workshops
- Timely and complete analysis of data
- Troubleshoot operational problems
- Share knowledge with and coach peers
- Ability to analyse and respond to Stakeholder queries
- Demonstrate the TELUS Values
- Forecast / Capacity planning
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication in English
- Strong facilitating and interpersonal skills
- Ability to actively listen and respond with empathy
- Proven ability in data accuracy
- Strong data analytics, trending, delivering recommendations
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Advanced SQL table/query/job building in Toad
Required experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in data mining & analyzing data in a BA capacity
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of inbound and outbound call center operations
- Understanding of Training concepts / tools
