Risk manager responsible for the SCO credit approvals of the FIRM, GIRM & CRE portfolios. Develop, implement and manage the risk management process of the assigned portfolio, including Banamex Treasury and affiliates. Ensure that the credit portfolio procedures meet institutional standards of quality and returns. Achieve asset growth strategy goals with the Corporate Bank, for an assigned portfolio while ensuring and adequate balance between risk and return. Classify and reduce assets when appropriate to avoid losses. For Basel III, adequately manage the amount of RWA and optimize its usage and returns. Qualifications • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail, ability to provide big picture decision making staff • Demonstrated aptitude for tackling analytical questions through quantitative modeling and the analysis and manipulation of large data elements • Ability to meet tight deadlines created due to business needs • Strong understanding of corporate finance required • Strong product knowledge required: working knowledge of the purpose and types of traded and derivative products • Solid understanding of Policies and Procedures impacting the Credit Risk mgmt framework • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present analysis and recommendation in a succinct manner • Sound risk and business judgment on the full spectrum of risk issues including franchise risk • Independent problem solving skills • 8 years credit risk experience • Ability to conduct on-site due diligence visits with relationship managers • Knowledge of various capital markets and derivative products and associated legal documentation Education Level:Bachelor%27s Degree100% English
