• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your two primary responsibilities are: 1. Guaranteeing compliance with the customer‘s design requisition and, 2. Guaranteeing compliance with the customer’s completion deadlines.

You’re responsible for reviewing hundreds of design requisitions per month for certain customers before they’re passed to your design team. A review consists of certifying design information for completeness and to also “make sense” of the requisition and to quantify the information. You’ll make a separate document that converts non-standardized design requests into a standardized internal format. This format must be in Spanish and highly organized.

The objective is for your design team to only make designs and to NOT have to interpret confusing information.

All design requests must be logged in and monitored to ensure that the final designs are returned to the customer before the 24 hour deadline.

You will work with and give quick answers to your design team throughout the day. You will support your design team – not the other way around.

Designers will give you completed designs throughout the day. You will review the overall design using a standard checklist for design quality, compliance with the customer’s requisition, measurements and manufacturers guidelines.

You’ll update the design status log constantly and also send finished designs as they’re completed to our customer.

You’ll develop a relationship with a coordinator for each of your customers. You’ll ask questions, participate in weekly conference calls and discuss ways to improve.

• TYPE OF PERSONALITY

You must be extremely detailed and concerned about complying with customer requirements. You must be strong-willed and disciplined to not settle for “good enough” and truly be an advocate for our customer. An Industrial Engineer with architectural knowledge would be ideal.

You must have the interpersonal skills to motivate and care for your design team because they must be motivated to meet deadlines.

You must be very process-oriented and obsessed with standardizing non-standard customer inflow.

• BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
Show work experience in which your primary responsibilities followed a very detailed process in English. Also, show that you worked with services and computer work in particular. Prove that you’re capable of managing a team and promoting strong relations. A strong understanding of architecture, design and the North American consumer.
• ABSOLUTE MINIMUMS

A university degree in Industrial Engineering or, possibly, architecture.

Must show similar work or study experience in the US or Canada

Completely fluent in English and Spanish

• WORK LOCATION
Escalón, San Salvador

• SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday / 7:00am to 5:30

• TRAINING
Approximately 90 days of dedicated training
Approximately 60 days of practice
Training will consist of: learning and dominating kitchen design software, learning and dominating specifications for many different cabinet manufacturers, learning and understanding kitchen design.
